PROJECT: Show apartment – 1 bedroom apartment
Sheldon Court is a fantastic new development of 64 spacious 1 and 2 bedroom apartments in the heart of East Birmingham.
We were asked to create and style a one bedroom showhome that epitomises modern living in this thriving area of East Birmingham.
We achieved this by using a neutral colour palette of shades of white and ivory accentuated with natural wood finishes in a Skandi style and specially commissioned art introduces colour throughout the property.
The living area has a mixture of simple, functional and carefully scaled furniture with clean lines adding to the freshness of the design with a selection of complementing finishes.
There are clearly defined areas for relaxing, dining, working from home and cooking covering all the demands of modern living.
A collection of patterns, rather than colour gives impact to this area with interesting textured wallpaper on accent walls alongside textured fabrics for curtains and cushions.
The bedroom has natural light finishes with the odd quirky touch including furs and textured cushions and an interesting headboard frames the bed and it is dressed with a statement deep colour bedspread.
This scheme was a sheer pleasure to work on!
