We were involved with this project in the early stages and produced CGI’s of the design scheme for the client which were used in the marketing campaign to forward sell the apartments from plan.
The brief was to produce a sophisticated, elegant interior, with contemporary touches which would appeal to a wide cross section of buyers from professional couples to empty nesters and downsizers who may have sold large properties locally. The palette is a light neutral backdrop with punches of bold colour in the bespoke artwork and soft furnishings bringing in subtle gold finishes to the furniture and accessories.
The apartment has a beautifully proportioned layout with a spacious Hallway leading to an open plan Living Area and 2 generously sized bedrooms.
The Hallway has grey tonal walls and an interesting console table with a geometric design in a subtle gold finish and large abstract art pieces set the scene of understated luxury.
The Living Area has large magnificent windows dressed with simple, elegant curtains, which present the perfect backdrop. The open plan layout cleverly zones different areas for Dining; Relaxation, Kitchen and Home Office.
The Dining Area has an impressive dining table with comfortable seating for 6 and a large sideboard in a coordinating dark wood finish. A beautiful rug which runs under the table really enhances the feel of opulence, the perfect ambience for entertaining family and friends.
The Lounge Area has large sumptuous sofas with cushions bringing in punches of colour. The finish of the bespoke media unit matches the unusual lamp tables at each end of the sofas and to add interesting detail we mixed in some unusual pieces in a delicate gold finish for accent. The artwork and accessories combine to distribute bold colour. A stunning feature is the large sliding glass screens at each side of the room cleverly hidden into recesses which give flexibility depending on how you want to use the space – open or closed for intimacy.
The Kitchen area is centrally positioned and the kitchen island has tall elegant bar stools for casual eating and socialising.
Todays’ essential “work from home” area is positioned in a large alcove recessed between the Kitchen and Living Area and boasts a bespoke fitted desk and bookshelves in the same colour and finish as the as the living and dining room furniture to create a seamless subtle addition.
We’ve created focal points in both of the bedrooms with interesting feature headboards accentuated with wallpaper panelling and beading. However each room has its own identity defined by individual accent colours in the artwork and furniture finish.
