When it comes to interior design, where do you go for your home accessories? Do you have a go-to favourite store you always head to? We asked our interior designers where they love to shop for their home décor both on the high street and online; the results are in and we are excited to introduce you to their firm favourites. Each brand has its own unique appeal, and we’ve picked out a few of our favourite accessories to inspire your own shopping.
Nkuku
Nkuku is a fantastic interior design store that focuses on ethically-sourced and sustainable homewares from around the globe. They offer an array of furniture and accessories, often handmade with beautiful organic shapes and textures such as rustic tables, chairs, cushions, throws, wall art and much more. What makes Nkuku so special is the fact that they make sure everything they sell has been made with sustainability and strong ethics in mind – from materials to production. They also donate to charity every time you shop with them!
Wearth London
Wearth champions British-made products, sustainable and ethical brands, and supports small businesses and makers. They do this by curating a range of interior design pieces that are all made in the UK, from furniture to home textiles and lighting. With this store you get something really special while knowing that your purchases are supporting independent businesses.
The White Company
The White Company are making strides to become a B Corp certificated company, working hard to become more sustainable and give back to the community. They offer interior design homeware in both contemporary and classic styles ranging from upholstered furniture to kitchenware, lighting and home accessories. What we love about The White Company is their ability to provide us with affordable products without compromising on quality.
H&M Home
H&M Home is one of the key brands that can be very trend and influencer led, often leading to sell-out items. The organic-shaped vase that ‘broke the internet’ is the perfect example of an item that sold out almost instantly after every restock due to influencer promotion.
We love H&M Home’s ability to produce creative interior design-led pieces at reasonable prices, always stylishly combining colour, pattern & texture. From furniture to bedding, accessories & lighting, H&M Home is one our favourite high street gems.
Zara Home
Zara Home offers an array of contemporary-style products ranging from bedding, cushions, furniture and accessories all based on the latest trends. Their products have a very natural and organic feel and help to create a comforting and intimate home style. We particularly love their designer-inspired lighting and organic shapes.

Maison Du Monde
Maison Du Monde is a French online store that focuses on interior design pieces made with natural materials and textures. They have a wide range of products, from furniture to bedding and accessories.
What we love about their products is their use of organic shapes, turned wood, natural textures and ombre glass, often giving their products a unique look and bringing that softer, natural feel to the home.
Unlike the ‘fast fashion culture’ of the past, high street homeware brands are really putting an emphasis on long-lasting, handcrafted pieces and a lot less on mass-produced items.
Customers are craving stand-out and unusual pieces and home decor products of a higher-quality than in the past. Is this due to influencers highlighting key ‘must-have’ items which have led to sell-out pieces? Or have we all been spending more time in our homes the past few years, fuelling us to take more pride in our safe havens and creating homes that are comfy, cosy and design inspired?
Either way, we love that people are feeling inspired and want to explore interior design in their own homes now more than ever. There are shops for every budget and style so you can find the perfect pieces to fit your home no matter how much money you have to spend! Whether it’s a luxury stand out piece or something more affordable, we’ve found these brands provide accessories and furniture that can be enjoyed by all and each have something to offer that is sure to inspire you and help make your home interior look stunning!
